Locations
The Locations page allows you to view and manage geographical locations associated with your contacts, providing both list and map visualization options.

- Primary Goal: Enable visual management and access to geographical distribution of service locations
- User Benefits: Improves planning and communication efficiency through location tracking and categorization

Adding Parcel Numbers
- Navigate to the location’s edit page
- Locate the Parcel Numbers widget
- Enter the parcel number in the text field
- Click the plus sign (+) to add
- Multiple parcel numbers can be added to a single location

Adjusting Map Coordinates
Manual Coordinate Adjustment
The Map Coordinates widget shows the location’s current map pin position.
To adjust coordinates:
- Navigate to the location’s edit page
- Locate the Map Coordinates widget
- Enter the desired Latitude in the first text box
- Enter the desired Longitude in the second text box
- Click ‘Update Coordinates’
- The map pin will move to the new position
When to Adjust Coordinates
- Incorrect automatic geocoding
- Precise placement needed
- Multiple buildings at address
- Rural or new addresses
- Service point differs from mailing address
Coordinate Format
Use decimal degrees format (e.g., 40.7128, -74.0060) Negative longitude for Western Hemisphere Negative latitude for Southern Hemisphere
Search and Filter
Search Criteria
Use the dropdown to search by:
- Location name
- Street address
- Account number
- Reference keys
Tag Filtering Options
- Match All Selected Tags: Locations must have ALL selected tags
- Match Any Selected Tag: Locations with ANY selected tag
Filter Persistence
Remember to click “Update Map View” after changing filters to refresh the display.

Quick Actions
Add Location → Locations → Add Location
Toggle View → Switch between List/Map
Filter by Tags → Select tags → Update View

Important Considerations
Coordinate Accuracy
- Verify GPS coordinates for critical locations
- Manual adjustments override automatic geocoding
- Test map pins after bulk imports
Data Relationships
Deleting a location does not delete associated contacts, but will remove the association.
